FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE SALT LAKE CITY, UT-July 9th, 2012 Salt Lake City’s newest ballroom dance spot: DF Dance Studio’s Ballroom Extravaganza will be the newest spot for all level dancers to show off their moves, learn new dance steps and enjoy food and shows. During the evening DF Dance Studio is an art filled dance facility with an impressive lineup of champion dance instructors who offer various levels of dance instruction in both group and private lesson settings to accommodate beginners, social and professional competition dancers. By day, the facility is available to rent as and “alternative space” for rehearsals, practice time or special occasions for professional team cheerleaders, dance clubs, yoga instruction, jazz/aerobic classes, theater groups, or other activities. “We are happy to provide a great location for dancers to gather and are honored to be a cultural benefit to South Salt Lake’s economic redevelopment strategy,” said Maria Ivanova owner of DF Dance Studio. “We hope to attract residents of the community as well as outside visitors,” she continued. She also mentioned that the studio’s main goal is to enhance culture venues in the South Salt Lake City area. DF Dance is also open to offer their space for any non-profit organizations that might be in need of some space. “Anyone that needs to rehearse or practice on a professional dance floor surrounded by wall to wall mirrors can rent any of the 3 ballrooms we have-large, medium or small—according to their needs,” said Lindsay Nielson DF Dance Studio head teacher and manager “and there is plenty of free parking too!” The public is invited to come out for a fun dance party on July 20 th from 8PM to 11PM to discover South Salt Lake’s newest Ballroom Extravaganza Night Out at DF Dance Studio. The event is a great activity full of culture, art, people and fantastic dance shows. There will also be an opportunity to explore the dance studio at their open house that will be happening on July 28th. this will be a day event where for a small fee anyone is welcome to try out different dance classes throughout the day. DF Dance Studio is happy to announce its first annual "Dance Classes for a Cause!" This is a series of Beginner Dance Workshops during the month of December 2010. The classes will be held on Saturdays December 4th, December 11th&December; 18th 12-2pm. There will be 1.5 hours of class + 30min of dance practice where you can dance, ask questions and practice your new moves! Everyone is welcome to attend.
