This is my favorite bar to go to. I love dives! Is it well-lit? No. Is there loud music playing? No. Is the average age of the people there under 40? No. Do you see the same people there no matter how infrequently you go? If you like being insulted by the "entertainment", being ripped off, or if you want to score cocaine, go there. It used to be a pretty good place to go, but has spiraled into a dump. Sunday Night has Chrys Nikas playing the same old covers he's been doing for a lifetime and still uses cheat sheets. On the surface he seems to be a good guitarist, but there is something important missing: Soul. Being addicted to crack will do that to a person. The VFW used to be a lot of fun. The crowd there lately has become very lame and into things besides alcohol. On Karaoke night, girl after girl insists on singing some kind of love song that makes you want to run out of the bar screaming.
