WARRING!!! This company did a home inspection on a home we bought. Criterium-Bernhisel Engineers Charged us $350.00 and failed to inspect; or put in there report the following problems: Lights flicker Water Pressure is low (We have not been able to use the shower downstairs since we bought the house.) Bare electrical wire in large unfinished room down stairs Light sockets that were not tight Both Outdoor water sockets needed to be replaced Back door in garage that will not close and lock Soft spot on roof that needed to be fixed. Upstairs fireplace that won't light. Light socket by back door in garage does not work. We found these problems after we moved in. Had we had known about these problems before we moved in they would of been fixed. I know now I have to let everyone I know to stay away from Criterium-Bernhisel Engineers if they want a detailed inspection that they are going to pay for. ...read more

I mistakenly came into this LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS for their $19.99 oil change. I returned to get my emissions and safety tests completed. But the old man, the owner, had said that I didn't have to do it this year. One of his mechanics had offered to submit my information to the State and then provide me with a decal sticker. I gladly accepted because I that he was offering "good" customer service. The old man provided me my decal sticker and he said I owed him $10.00. I said he never told me about the fee and that I could have done this online for free. I said he was DISHONEST. He became angry and demanded that I leave this shop. He said on another website that he refunded my $10.00 to me. My credit card doesn't show a refund. I have not seen a check in the mail. I never got anything for "free" as he had stated. Again, this company has proven that they are DISHONEST and SHOULD NOT BE TRUSTED! ...read more

I went to get my car safety inspected while on my lunch break. They told me it would be 15 minutes, I sat down and waited. As I waited the Old Cranky man behind the counter made fun of a customer that came in. After waiting 35 minutes ( which made me late for work with my 30 minute lunch break ) I asked him if it was done. It had been done for 10 minutes. I told the old man his customer service wasn't very good, He then told me there was nothing wrong with his customer service there was something wrong with the customer. I told him I would leave a negative review, he told me he would sew me. I will never go back again. I strongly urge you to go somewhere else. ...read more

Why is it Important to have a home inspection?

You and every other home buyer knows that buying a home is one of the biggest investments you are going to make. As a home inspector, I aim to minimize unpleasant surprises and difficulties that may occur. A home inspection indicates the positive aspects of a home, as well as the maintenance that will be necessary to keep your home in good shape. Afterwards, you will have a much clearer understanding of your home. (KNOWING IS BELIEVING) Having a home inspection completed is also a good idea if your getting ready to sell your home.  We can identify any problems that might exist, so when you do sell your home there are no surprises. ...read more
