my jeep tj broke down in moab. this shop was recommended and it was probably the only one open on a sunday morning. left it in moab. keith diagnosed the problem as a flattened out camshaft lobe and lifter on cyl 5. decided to have him fix it and do a stroker upgrade at the same time since he would need to take off the cylinder head and take out the camshaft. i ordered stroker parts and had them shipped to keith. several weeks later i flew back to moab to pick up my fixed stroker jeep. was initially running great and then blew up a couple hundred miles into my trip back home. i called keith right away and left a voicemail telling him. turns out a connecting rod bearing was destroyed which in turn destroyed the connecting rod which in turn destroyed the piston and eventually flew into the side of the block creating a large hole and crack. engine was toast. keith maintains it was bad parts. parts supplier/machine shop says the engine was not cleaned properly and must have had metal contam ...read more
