Every time I go to this store, the line takes FOREVER and they have one, maybe two cashiers. Today, after waiting in line for almost 10 minutes, I tried to return a picture frame without a receipt. I was told that without the receipt they could only give me the lowest sale price. I said that was fine, I had bought it 50% off anyway. After checking with a manager, AND the frame department, I waited for an additional 15 minutes! That’s 25 minutes, just to check out!!! Customers behind me in line gave up one-by-one. After all that waiting, I was told that they couldn’t find it in their inventory and therefore the most they could give me back was 90% off the original price. (How is it my fault that they can’t find it in their inventory?)What is frustrating is that there was nothing I could say to argue with this. The theater looks great from both the outside and inside. However, with the look and classy style that it has it should have much better seating. It seems like they tried to squeeze too many seats into the theater. There is absolutely no legroom. I am only 5'4" and I didn't even have enough room to cross one leg over the other. My husband at 6'1" came out of the 3 hour opera we attended with a sore knee. The chairs are very uncomfortable without leg room and defiantly not worth the price. I would not recommend attending a long event here because parking is atrocious and you will come out of the theater unable to walk. The Ellen Eccles Theater looks a lot better than it feels. ...read more
