I really found that the business that I received at Hub Cap City to be very poor. I left my rim to be repaired (it was cracked) and I was told that it would be about $100 and they would call in 1 to 2 days when it was done. Five days later I called and was told that it should be ready that night and that they would call. Two days after that I showed up and was accused of not answering my phone (my phone shows no record of a missed call) and that it was my fault that I didn't get the call. He then gave me a price of $130. I asked to have my tire back and leave him the rim because I didn't agree with the price. He refused. In the end it was a very bad experience. Needed to have the breaks redone on my son's jeep before he headed back to school. The dealer had said it would be $300 for front and back. I went to school with a friend who's folks knew Les Schwab. I had always admired what he did and how he had gotten to where he was. Decided to try them. They had given a phone quote of $240 but would not know any more till they could take the tires off and look at it. Dropped the jeep off. They were really nice and said they would give us a call with what they find and what it would cost. An hour and a half later they called and said they found all kinds of things wrong with the brakes. Two disk would need to be replaced. Two calipers as well. It was not safe at all..... They would not come down on the work to be done or price. Brought the jeep back home and took a look. There was nothing wrong but the pads being low. These guys were angry and arrogant. Didi not have part in stock called Rocky Mtn. Radiator and had them bring it over after marking it up...Should have driven up the road and bought from Rocky Mountain to save money and hassle............. ...read more
