Wichita Auto Salvage

1.0

By Anonymous

If you enjoy picking salvage yards, do NOT come to this place. They are very, very rude. For example, I went looking for some seats out of an old import suv. I found a few cars, but the seats were either gone or in pretty bad shape. While there I pulled an old relay off of what looked like an aftermarket fog lamp install. I hate to come out empty handed when I walk a yard. I get to the counter and am ignored. I finally ask how much for the relay and he says $5. This is $6.99 in autoparts stores.... I say I'll give you $2 and he takes the part from my hand and tells me not to come back unless I bring money. What????? I calmly looked at him and turned an left. This place is ridiculous. I miss my old salvage yards back home. Friendly to the point of remembering my name. - This place is horrrrrrible. Expensive - rude - and the yard was quite overgrown with weeds. Such a shame. ...read more

A to Z Tire

2.0

By LarryThompson2

I took my vehicle to A to Z Tire Service in Wichita Falls and had a bad feeling as soon as I spoke to the counter service personnel, from the look on their faces. All I needed was a front end alignment and tire rotation/balance. I am not too concerned as of yet about the front end alignment, however, I paid an additional 49.99 for tire balance and rotation. To my knowledge, the tires were only rotated. I never saw them taken off the vehicle and placed on the balance machine as I peered into the service bay. During the next two weeks, I noticed a vibration in the steering wheel and seat of my car as I drove down the highway. I then noticed there were no weights on the outside of the tires. I then took my car to another service center, where they checked the balance of each tire prior to removing the weights from the inside of each tire. They were all way off by 1.5 to 2.5 ounces. The service center then balanced my tires and I immediately noticed a perfectly smooth ride at all speeds. Shame on you, A to Z! Never again will you touch my car for any reason. Audio Source

5.0

By kendrahernandez

I was in town from San Antonio the first weekend of September to purchase a Mustang, which I brought to Audio Source for window tint. The guys tinted the windows on Saturday and I picked it up that afternoon….I noticed in the evening that the tint was coming off at the top on the back window and I freaked out because I knew I was leaving the next morning to drive back to San Antonio and they were already closed, so I took a shot and emailed the owner via their website. The manager contacted me within an hour and explained what happened and why the tint didn’t stick, then told me that he and an associate would meet me at the store the next morning at 10:30 (which was a Sunday). They completely re-tinted the back window and I was able to leave town on time. I just want to say this is exactly why your business has the great reputation that it has and why you are considered the best window tint place in town. Your customer service and staff are top notch! ...read more
