Up until this week, I would have given the above feed at least a four star rating. However, I just picked up a new order of the above and it contained a totally different pellet. Gone was the green pellet that was in the feed for years that had passed the "water absorbing test' . We thought that perhaps they merely changed the color not the content. Unfortunately, that appears not to be the case. My stallion is a slow eater, and we could watch the pellets in the bucket swell with just the moisture from his saliva. Imagine what they are doing in his stomach. What did you all do to my favorite feed. This never has happened before. Nothing has changed except your pellet. I am now trying to figure out what I am going to feed my horses. Why did you change a good thing? Cost? I would appreciate some input from you. I have been using M-G senior feeds off and on for 12 years or so . I have never had a problem with it. Although some people would rather pay 8 dollars or so more for the same product or a fancier bag. I dont worry about what other people do.
