I want to say that I've personally seen Jayma work for free, 1-2 hours most days, to sign prescription assistance such as that above. She was the only provider for a great while, so she had to do hundreds of them. It was never about bothering to put her signature,it was about hours in the day. Since it had been more than two years since she had seen the good Dr. she would be considered a new patient and he could not see new patients for another two months. i have myasthenia gravis and it took jayma degroot 8 wks and 3 pharmacy co applications 2 get mestinon ordered 4 my disease. i ran out of meds and am now n bed waiting on meds 2 arrive. i have several others from pharmacy co's and am sure they have not been ordered yet because jayma can't be bothered to put her signature on applications. until she does her staff can go no further. this is not the first time or first med this has happened with. myasthenia is a fairly rare disease and does not appear on urgent med list. i am also diabetic and as important as insulin is to that is how important mestinon is to myasthenia. i would request it be added to your "important" meds list so maybe someone could realise the importance and maybe jayma could be bothered to sign off on it in a timely manner. coma is quite serious and that is what happens if i go w/out mestinon long enough. any reply 2 my e-mail address even just 2 acknowedge u received this would b greatly appreciated. ...read more
