During a scheduled appointment at the UTMB PAIN CLINIC, I was treated very RUDELY by an LVN Nurse. I filed a written complaint to the Nurse Manager over the UTMB Pain Clinic and her response was not an apology for the way I was treated, but she denied that there was any problem at all. We pay more than enough to see our DOCTORS and we shouldn't have to explain something to a Nurse three times before she finally understands. Recently, I had to take my father (who never ever goes to the doctor), to see someone about his high blood pressure issues. We were able to get an appt to see Dr. Dowlling fairly quickly. (within a 2 day period)\t\nI was immediately impressed by Dr. Dowling. (My ten-year old was impressed with his cowboy boots LOL) but I am impressed with him for how attentive he is and that he takes the time to address all concerns and questions and he is very thorough. He is also very conscious of the fact that we are all on a budget and does what he can to ease the "pocket-book pain" that can come with prescriptions.\t\nHe is a kind man, who is honest and has a great bedside manner. \t\nI have since seen him myself, for a sinus infection and once again, was impressed with the way he took care of me and discussed my issues with me.
