My husband & I bought the pillow top because it was just so comfortable in the store and it was great for a few months. after about 5 months it started to sag in the spots that we each slept in. Now, we rotated this thing every time we changed the sheets (which was quite frequent) and not matter how many times we rotated, the sag would appear. We tried to get the store that sold it to us to replace it but they refused saying we must not have been rotating in frequently enough and that it was normal. The tag on the mattress even states that "body impressions are a normal characteristic of premium bedding and indicate the comfort level is conforming to your body and these impressions are NOT considered a defect." Well, let me tell you something.... the impressions ARE NOT comfortable. My husband and I have been stuck with the mattress for 2 years now because we can't afford another one just yet but it is the most horrible, uncomfortable, sleep stealing mattress in the free world! ...read more

I purchased a mactavish mattress 2years ago, it was comfortable for about 6 months until it started to sag. I would wake up many times through out the night in a lot of discomfort. I called the store where i bought it only to be told that was normal wear & tear and that it was not covered under the warranty. Im not a heavy person so there was no reason after only 6 months this bed was that bad. I was 5 months pregnant at the time & insisted the amount of sagging wasnt normal for a 6 month old bed, as a courtesy the store said they would replace it. The new one was again great for a little bit & now its a year later & its even worse then the original one was. I just purchased a different mattress & brand because o could no longer take the pain nor waking up 15 times a night. I will never by this brand again in any type of furniture. I cant wait to get my new mattress & stop sleeping on the worst mattress ever. ...read more

I house sat for my daughter recently. She had just moved in to a new house & her old bed was done.. Sleeping on the floor would be better so she rented a new bed from Arron Rents (being short on cash from the move). I couldn't believe how comfortable the Mactavish mattress is! I have not slept that good in years! I want to buy 1 just like it. My concerns?No where can I find a review on these beds, so I wonder how long this bed will stay comfortable? Just how good the quality of the mattress is? Will it be comfortable for 3-5 years, then become a nightmare like the 1 I have now or last 20+ years like the name brands do? Can I buy 1 or do I have to rent it to get 1? Quality is my concern. I guess we will see in time. ...read more
