Air Serv Heating and Air Conditioning does really good work, and are very professional. They maintain my air-conditioning system. I have a contract with them, and they come twice a year to check my air conditioning system. When they come over, they check everything thoroughly, and explain things when they need to. Sounds pretty exciting right? Actually, what I have found is that most people are not walking around thinking about their air conditioning system unless it is not working properly. I wanted to offer a few thoughts for you to consider about this important component to your home or business. Air conditioning systems that are regularly maintained break down far less than systems that receive at least one tune-up per year. They also consume far less energy, which is very important considering the low cost of a tune-up vs. the cost of operating equipment that is not maintained. Systems that are maintained will provide 50% to 100% or more useful life. Average replacement costs have almost doubled over the last 10 years. So don't underestimate the importance of useful life. More and more homes in recent years have been constructed utilizing two, three or even more air conditioning systems. Even small businesses can have several air conditioning systems running to keep a comfortable work or selling environment. Maintenance is a cost of running a home or business. However, the cost of not keeping systems maintained makes the decision fairly easy. Do not adopt the "fix on fail" mentality. This does not work well with anything mechanical, such as your vehicle. Scheduling a tune-up can be a challenge with busy schedules. However, I can guarantee that your air conditioning system will not fail at a convenient time for you. Regularly scheduled maintenance visits also allow technicians to develop a relationship with you and your home or business, become familiar with your needs and your environment's needs, and find weak parts or other issues that can be planned for instead of dropped in your lap when you least expect it.
