We personally went to the Sylvia Romo Tax Office on Nogalitos on Feb 5 to pick up 2009 license plate renewal. I'd sent my first ck in January, but hadn't rec'd it and 5 day grace period was up. The woman at the Handicapped Window told me that "two cks couldn't be processed" so I gave her another ck. The next day we rec'd the 2nd 2009 lic plate renewal. We have copies of both cks being processed. What do we do with 2nd sticker for 2009 and how do we get a refund in a reasonable length of time. I posted a question/email on an earlier Sylvia Romo site this morning. It is about a 50 mi round trip to Nogalitos Tax Office. I can't reach anyone by phone to take care of this w/o going there????
