I was at a dinner party that was catered by Arugula Catering and at that very moment I knew they would be perfect for my event. I hosted a baby shower of about 100 people. When we spoke I left the menu up to them. I gave them total freedom to do what they wanted. Wow was I impressed the day of. It was more than I could have dreamed. Plus they really took the pressure off of that day. Arugula was professional on time and the food was fresh. Everyone was raving about the taste of everything from the little burritos, empanadas, the chicken and vegetarian items. The night seemed as though it was fit for royalty and nothing less. We love working with Chuck! We hired Chuck for two events in late 2009 where we hosted ~100 people at our home - a fundraiser and a holiday party. He exceeded our expectations at every turn! Working with him in the planning stage was easy and fun. He is quite creative and is really willing to customize each event according to client needs. He arrived on time and presented the food beautifully and artfully. We love that he brought a surprise dish each time. His food is so delicious, inviting and interesting - not the usual caterer fare. Several guests at both events raved about his food and presentation. His crew was curteous, professional and overall delightful. He also made two outstanding "take and bake" lasagnas for us during the holidays. They were so good that I will probably never make it myself again!
