It's only because many of the people I worked with were nice, just not customer service oriented that I am giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 (or 0). The person who helped me try on dresses was very nice, but overwhelmed with at least 3-4 other people trying on prom, wedding, and bridesmaid dresses. I had very little attention and it took forever to try on other dresses or get someone to answer my questions. I ended up purchasing my dress then, but only because it was a discontinued dress at a price I just couldn't beat. A bride wants to feel special when trying on dresses, not just another person in a crowd. The worst part was when the dress came in. The dress came in much quicker than I thought it would, which was great. I got an email during the day and went in after work. I wanted to try on my dress since the dress I originally tried on was too small. The front attendant took me to the back where the alterations were done. No one was around to help. I didn't have anyone to ask to borrow a bra to try on my dress, so I used my regular one. Then when I got the dress on, I couldn't find anyone to talk to about alterations. I sat there for about 10 minutes waiting for someone. I finally gave up and changed back into my regular clothes. THEN someone showed up and asked if I needed any changes done. Seriously? Since I was already fed up with David's Bridal, I decided to get alterations done elsewhere. The dress came in a clear plastic bag so I asked for another bag. I saw that there were white plastic bags with the logo on them out front. The alterations lady informed me I would have to pay 10+ dollars for a garment bag. It was drizzling outside, the clear bag wasn't nearly long enough to cover my dress and it is a wedding dress! No bride wants her fiancé to see her wedding dress beforehand and I was taking it home to the house we both live in! They then offered the white david's bridal bag, but then informed me they didn't have any bags. No other offers were given. If it weren't for the price of the dress, there is no way I would have bought anything from David's Bridal. And forget contacting customer service. You'll just get automated messages no matter how many times you follow up with no resolution. I can't recommend the store to anyone else.
