I know with the economy the way it is right now we are are all on the look out for a deal, but should it possibly cost you; to save some money. I see it every day, These so called tow trucks pulling cars all over San Antonio for $25.00 or $35.00 dollars. Don't get me wrong, if someone can afford to charge these prices and still make money, more power to them. However they are not on the up and up, what I mean by that is one they don't have insurance (that's easy to detect by looking at their license plate if it doesn't read TOW TUCK then all they have is insurance to cover their truck) . Which means if they wreck or are in an accident and your vehicle is damaged then guess what your stuck with a $25.00 tow that cost you big time. Unless of course they were taking your vehicle to the junk yard and you don't need it to get to work. A legitimate tow truck company will not mind if you ask for ins. cab card and license to operate a tow truck. I hope this helps someone. ...read more
