I provided them with a list and anticipated (a fair bill with my knowledge) of about $1700-2000. I told them exactly what it needed, provided the list of repairs, and informed them to give me a quote prior to any work. I heard nothing for two days. I was called and informed by the owner that the car had been disassembled (without my permission!) totally and that the repair bill would be over $5500.00! (Again this is with $700.00 in new parts including the new tires!). They wanted $4800 in labor. Of course, I refused to have the work done and he (the owner) became very nasty and stated that he would put the car back together and we could come and get it. My son picked it up with me a day later and the car was still in the service stall and had not been backed out. He refused to move the car out and did not back it out. Now we know why! The right front tire was totally flat and he refused to assist with fixing it even though it was fine when the car was delivered to him. ...read more
