Very impressed with Butler Plumbing... all the way from the phone call to the in-house service. We had an emergency situation yesterday - after 5pm. The guy who answered the phone was very courteous, helpful & thorough in explaining the breakdown of the quote. The service tech (CJ) was very quick to arrive at our house & got the work done quickly & efficiently. He was also very courteous & thorough with his explanation of the charges, which were right in line with the quote that was previously provided over the phone - no surprises! About 6 months ago I had several HVAC contractors come out to my house to provide estimates for replacing my 10 year old system. After procrastinating on my decision, Jose and 5 Star HVAC Contractors were the only one who contacted me with a new quote (which was much lower). I still had several questions for Jose and we went back and forth with multiple emails and phone calls. Jose was always very quick in responding and provided me with all the information I needed (even the novice, stupid questions I asked). After deciding to move forward with this purchase, Jose and his team showed up on time (can you believe that? A contractor who shows up on time) and removed and replaced my unit in a timely fashion. They worked around my schedule, cleaned up everything, tested the system and completed the job to my full satisfaction. The one issue I had was the following day I noticed that my new thermostat was not drawing its power from the electricity of the house but using the batteries. I called Jose and he explained that he simply connected the new thermostat the same way my old one had been installed (I guess for the past 10 years, I've been running off batteries). Jose offered to come back to my house and get this hooked up properly. This over and above work ethic is something that I really appreciate in the service industry and Jose gets an A in my book. Every part of this process of getting my new system was handled professionally and to my full satisfaction, including by not limited to, deciding which unit to choose, setting up financing, installation and removal of old unit and follow-up.
