Had set up a private charter for family of four to fish off shore while on vacation in Port Aransas. Did not get to go out due weather conditions being to rough for the size of boat chartered. That day my wife and I took a walk on the docks and based on information we got and what we saw of the larger group fishing boats had caught, we decided to go with Dolphin Docks the next day for our fishing trip. It was the best fishing trip I had ever been on, not only did it make my day, it made my whole vacation. Caught a lot of red snapper and the largest king I had ever caught. I went on a Dolphin dock fishingthe 5 hour offshore trip. i will not recomend anyone to use this company. First of all the trip left 50 min. late. the boat smelled of days old rotten bait. the captain decided to drift fishwe wouldnt catch any fish but he would drift the spot over again? Thirty fisherman were fishing all on one side of the boat. There were three fish caught. the captain said we were moving to one more spot and then just headed in at half speed to burn up time. i have spoke to other people who said the same thing dolphin Dock is a rip off. ...read more
