My child was originally enrolled in Appleseed Academy in pre-k, and now is enrolled in kindergarten, The teachers really care about the students and are able to give each child attention because of the smaller class sizes. My son attended this school for his pre-k year in 2011. I was not completely satisfied with the school nor was I completed dissatisfied and based this opinion on his teachers lack of educational experience. I understood that this was her second year of teaching. Once my child graduated I decided to keep him at the school because of the small classroom sizes. The first day of class I find out that his pre-k teacher is now his kindergarten teacher! I decided to take a chance and hope she was better. I watched my child regress instead of progress. He had issues with bullying from the other kids, when brought to the teachers attention she took it personal. the assistant director became rude and avoided all communication with me. A sweet teacher pulled me to the side and told me to remove my son from the school. I thanked her and let her know my notice to leave was already submitted. I couldn't wait and removed him during thanksgiving break. The best decision I could have made. ...read more
