I went to get contacts after I had Lasik surgery about 10 years ago. I felt rushed through my appt. and didn't feel like the Dr. was trying to help me. I tried three different kinds of contacts and none of them provided me with good vision. He said it was because of the Lasik and I had dry eyes; he even told me I'd be better off with glasses. At one point he tried to give me a prescription saying I seemed happy with what I had. I told him I wasn't happy. I did my own research and discovered that I could wear contact lenses that were Gas Permeable rated. When I contacted the Dr. to see if he offered them, he wouldn't even talk to me. Basically, said he didn't want to help me and I wanted me to go somewhere else. I will not recommend this Dr. to anyone. I don't feel like he was trying to help me at all. If you need to replace the lenses in your glasses, do so carefully to keep your glasses in good condition. To replace lenses, remove the screws from your frames and push out the lenses.
