After being raised and educated in East Texas, Dennis LaMaster has been involved in environmental services since 1988 when he was hired to assist in marketing a local hazardous waste recycling company in Longview, TX. He was then recruited by a local recycler of industrial wastes as an area manager for fluid services. Dennis relocated to Baytown, Texas in 1991 to expand the fluid disposal business of his employer. He learned about spill response and waste management with that company until 1997 and was again recruited by an East Texas company that wanted to start up a Spill Response Division. Dennis purchased the company from his employer and eventually formed what was incorporated in Jan 2001 as MDLS, Inc. It had been a long-term goal to open his own business in the environmental field and after many years of working on startup operations for other people, he was able to find the right market for DLS Environmental Services.
