And they also said that they felt terrible that happened to me on my first day (as if it would be acceptable any other day) and said that they would credit that week of daycare towards the next week giving me one week free. HA! That's all? We ended up in the emergency room, the doctor's had to put a catheter in my son to get a urine sample to make sure no damage had been done to his kidneys. The scrape on his back tried to heal, but as a toddler bending over to play constantly it took a long time and he still has a scar. If there was an option for no stars that is absolutely what I would give this daycare. The very first day I ever put my son in daycare was with Primary Colors. I stayed with him for about an hour that first day to get him comfortable, then left for work. Around 3:00 that afternoon I got an alarming phone call from the daycare stating that my son had an accident but was okay. I rushed over, and when I got there I found the the highchair they put him in for snack was plastic, and the part that goes between the baby's legs to keep them from sliding out had broken leaving about a 1 inch rugged lip on it. My son slid out of the chair and that jagged plastic part of the chair that broke scraped him from his tailbone to his neck, then the incompetent attendant pulled him back through the same way he went under scraping him back down from neck to tailbone. All they offered as a condolence was that from now on my 1 year old would be made to sit at the picnic table to eat from that day forward.. ...read more
