Greetings!  We're happy to finally have a presence on Merchant Circle.  We hope this site will be beneficial to both us and our potential customers.  We'd like to introduce our company by explaining the services we offer in detail. Our firm is Texas Pro Sound & Video.  Obviously, our services have a little something to do with both audio and video.  Why are the two combined?  In our experience, work in multimedia lends itself to being an expert in more than one specific field.  By being pros in both audio and video, we expand the services we can offer and add value for our customers by not forcing them to hire separate professionals for each need.  Many customers need both types of services, and we allow them a one-stop-shop for these multimedia/entertainment needs.  Also, in the field of video, audio makes up 1/2 of the quality of a film.  Without good audio, your film will not work. So what exactly do we do? Sound Live Sound Reinforcement.  This is a fancy way of saying we make things louder.  Whether it's for a band, a motivational speaker, corporate presenter, minister, choir, orchestra, etc., we take their sound and make it as loud as necessary. For weddings, we can provide wireless lavaliere (clip-on) microphones for the minister and/or bride/groom so that they can be heard at the ceremony.  For example, some weddings are held outdoors where there is no built in sound system.  We bring the speakers and the microphones and we make sure all guests can hear what's going on. For bands, we mix your music using a 32 channel analog mixer and a combination of amps and speakers of appropriate size of the venue.  We bring the mics, you bring the instruments and amplifiers. Live Recording.  Using much of the same equipment used in sound reinforcement, we take that audio signal and record it in the highest available quality digital audio workstation.  If it's simply a speech, or if it's as complicated as a five member band, we can record it and make you sound your best.  This service works best along with Live Sound Reinforcement described above. DJ/Mobile Entertainment.  We have DJ-ed for weddings, graduation parties, dances, Christmas parties, bars, clubs, and private parties.  We have a selection of over 25,000 songs and we can almost always honor requests for specific songs.  Our entertainment packages come with lights as well to get the dance floor moving and grooving. Video Wedding Videography.  Technology in the field of video has advanced rapidly in the last few years.  Suddenly, high definition cameras are more affordable for professionals like ourselves.  We're proud to offer video services in 1080i High Definition (the Canon HDV codec).  We have two HD cameras that we use to video from two angles at your wedding.  We don't miss a thing from the procession to the postlude.  We pull our expertise from the field of audio to make sure everyone is heard -- the minister as well as the bride and groom.  Without proper audio, a video is just a moving image.  Visit our website for a much more detailed discussion of wedding video. Event Videography.  In addition to weddings, we also do lots of other types of events.  Theater productions, sporting events, graduations, parties, and documentaries are some of the types of video we've recorded for our customers.  As always, we shoot in High Definition and demand quality audio as well. Video Transfer.  We can take your old VHS tape and get it to DVD.  We can even edit that tape to get only the parts you want, or put them in specific order, or add music as background soundtrack.  We're experts in video editing, so it doesn't cost the national debt to get your DVD just the way you want it.  We can even take most types of camcorder tapes and do the same thing.  Call us for details on what types of media we can accept.
