They managed 2 properties for me. When the house got vacant, they marked up the prices for repair and I spent more than 1500$ from my pocket for things like touch up on the walls in addition to the tenant being charged 500$ for the same. In essence I spent 2000$ for make ready. I also had the house vacant for 2 months and had to offer half a month off for the same and since they take half a month off for finding the tenant-in essence lost 3 months of rental income on that 1 property. Decided to end the contract with them. Sent them a notice- they were supposed to send me a check of 6434$ but instead sent me a check for around 3600$. I feel I have been robbed off 2834$ for work that has not been done. They charged me for 18 months of management fee and also I had to pay out of my pocket for security deposits on the 2 properties.
