Whenever going out of town, you can traditionally hold your mail. This place will hold your mail and never give it back. It took almost a month to restore mail service after the date I set on the request. You would think they would be happy to stop storing it! ...read more

United States Postal Service

1.0

This post office doesn't even deserve a star...at all. The staff is very rude and very unfriendly. The carriers are incompetent and will only deliver the mail when they feel like it. I often receive mail that doesn't belong to me, which makes me think that other people are also getting my mail. This is really effective in combating identity theft. I hate when packages are transfered to the post office via UPS or FedEx because my package never arrives on time. I had a package that was to be delivered to me on a Saturday, and I waited at home all day expecting this package but it never came. The tracking info online stated that the carrier attempted to deliver but no one was home. I WAS HOME! The tracking info also said the delivery instructions were left on the notice, but no notice was left at my door! I needed this package for Sunday and I paid for shipping so this is not one of those smartpost incidents. When I called the post office Monday, the lady on the phone flat out told me that the carrier did not attempt to deliver the package AT ALL. Which I knew, but just wanted someone to acknowledge as this is not unusal behavior for this post office or my carrier. The package did not require signature which I why I was confused as to why the package was just not left. But she cleared up that confusion with her comment about the carrier not even making an effort to deliver it. Awesome! Next she asked me to call and remind her in the morning to talk to my carrier. When I did call the manager was so rude! This is the greeting I received ""What do you want?!"" I asked if this was the post office because I thought maybe I had the wrong number, sure enough the lady said it was the post office and that she was the manager and proceeded to yell at me. Wow! I was just calling to remind whomever I spoke with the day before to talk to my carrier about my incident. Customer service like this makes me wonder how this post office functions on daily basis. Please do not hesitate to register a complaint on this post office. I'm not one to write reviews or complain, but this is just the worst service I have ever received in my life and its from government paid workers that we are paying. Even better! Good waste of tax dollars. ...read more
