Excellent Child Care. We have been bringing our son to Bell for over 6 months now, and we couldn't have picked a better place. With Bell's medical background, the cleanliness is unmatched by any other place we have seen. There is not a day I go in and someone is not actively cleaning. Best Learning Center EVER!!!!!! I have nothing but WONDERFUL things to say about this center. The owner Bell is ALWAYS there. I have worked in daycare for 6 years all around the Clear Lake Area and this is by far the best place I have ever been to. Love Bell! My little girl has been going to Bell's Little Angels since the end of April. I have seen her develop so good because of the teachers in her room. This place is not dirty. It's always clean! If there is an issue, Ms. Bell takes care of it personally. The teachers are wonderful and Ms. Bell is the best! I love this daycare. Beehive’s education mission is three-fold. We seek to nurture the whole child. Beehive provides a variety of experiences to meet the intellectual, social, emotional and physical needs of children. Having a variety of activities for the children.We believe that the teachers must guide and redirect the children to help them learn to cooperate with their peers. We believe that this can be best accomplished by: Using group management techniques, i.e. “1,2,3, Eyes on me,” singing a song during a transition Limiting the number of children in each area to avoid crowding Maintaining an excellent adult-to-child ratio Speaking positively with the children if their behavior is inappropriate Giving praise for appropriate behavior Redirecting children to other activities Teachers and working parents will model acceptable behavior towards each other and towards the children. Children will be encouraged to articulate their problems and be helped to understand the natural consequences of their behavior. Teachers and working parents will step in immediately if they feel a child is in danger of hurting themselves and/ or others by their behavior. Parents will be counseled when a child’s inappropriate behavior persists. If a problem cannot be resolved the child could be dismissed from the program. Any form of hitting, corporal punishment, abusive language, ridicule, harsh, humiliating or frightening treatment is contrary to our philosophy. It's good to switch to underwear as soon as your child uses potty and is also going dry for at least an hour. Some parents like to wait for perfection before switching to underwear or panties but that only prolongs the transition from diapers or pull-ups to underwear. Once your child understands concept of peeing in potty they are good to switch, not to say they won't have accidents but that is normal process to potty training. ...read more
