Silver & Stone Restaurant

Georgetown has been waiting a long time for a restaurant like this. My wife and I went to dine at silver and stone on new years eve and had one of the most interesting meals that we have ever had. The wine selection is wonderful and the food as outstanding and very inventive. We have been to many restaurants in austin and the surrounding area and silver and stone could compete with most any of them. I've been to Wildfire in Georgetown many times, as I live in Hutto, 11 miles away. My family and I go here mostly after church for mid-morning brunch. Located next to the historic Palace Theatre, it is fun to get some grub at Wildfire then run over and catch a silver-screen classic. But on to the resturant...\t\n Wildfire recently had several menu changes, so i'm dissapointed to say that Fireline Tacos, (one of their staples) is out. But that aside, Wildfire's interior is cozy, depending on the room you're placed at. The main dining room is spaced out and is enjoyable with the blinds open. The other room is generally where the \t\nlittle kids and large families are put.\t\n The food of Wildfire: an enjoyable mix of hearth & home favorites with some upscale flair. Such as steaks or Southwestern-Avacado linguini.
