I must confess, it's always a disconcerting to read less than great reviews about any place I am considering going to. I searched water parks and after reading about another park that seemed to be gang oriented, I figured I'd try my luck here. I wasn't thrilled about the "bacteria" reviews I read but thought this could be only one persons reaction and that the park must keep a pretty good eye on this sort of thing. I think I made the right choice. Nobody can teach the Houston / Galveston anything when it comes to heat and humidity. With that being a way of life spending a day at Schlitterbahn's could be looked at as more of a reprieve than anything else. With so many really fun things there it is funny that the thing I like the best is the spray mist. I can stand under it all day just letting the water rain down over me. It seems to be the perfect combo of cool water and heat balancing each other out. I spent the day there with friends and none of us got sick so I guess any problems they might have had were taken care of. ...read more

The people working at the ticket booths, shops and food kiosks, including managers, were very rude. Don't expect any help from those people. The customers are a big imposition on their time. Not a single smile. ...read more

Schlitterbahn Is A Nice Waterpark... For my Family it is a tradition cause we love it.. It is not good as new Branfuels though..It is clean.. There are life guards everywhere.. There are around 15 people around the waterpark cleaning up people's trash.. It is Fun I Enjoy The Rides and I feel so safe on them..... Ive been for 4 years I would know how nice it is.. They let you bring food and drinks in.. You can go To HEb to get the tickets cheaper.. I Love the Galveston Schlitterbahn waterpark.. ...read more
