I've had the problem of getting help from someone who is just trying to make a sale and does not know what they are selling the past few times I've been in there. I like to shop local, but this makes it hard for me to justify doing so. I'm not sure how the other camera stores around town are, so perhaps they are the same. I just know that I should not have to tell the clerk 4 or 5 times that what they are telling me does not match what is written on the printed information they are supplying. ...read more

I bid on a package in a silent auction for family photos. All the $760 package included was a sitting fee and one photo. All the packages they then want you to buy are extremely overpriced with the cheapest package starting at $600. That package, which is called the "economy" package, only includes 8 photos. There is nothing special or original about these photos that would explain the ridiculous prices. Save some money and find another studio where you can get your moneys worth for a lot less. ...read more

I had an issue with my Canon 20d and took it to Camera Repair Center. The guy told me what he thought was wrong and gave me an idea of what to expect. A week later he called to verify the problem and ok the repair charges with me. It wasn't real cheap but I think he was fair and did a good repair on it he even got that pesky spot out of the viewfinder. It's been going strong now for 4 months. ...read more
