When people see you have a larger number of followers but you’re not following too many people yourself, you look like a winner.I use several free apps to help me keep my follower/following ratio in check.I keep returning to the Followers app. With the click of one button, I can unfollow all the people not following me.Followers also tells me who used to follow me but don’t follow me anymore so I can unfollow them too.I recently started using Unfollowers. Unfollowers costs $5.00 but for $5.00 I find out who my ghost followers are and I get them off my list of people who are following me. You might wonder why I’d want to bring down my follower count. I read if bots follow you, your engagement ratio gets hurt since bots don’t engage. I heard just today that if you want to be approached as a micro influencer by a brand, you need a 7% engagement rate. Ghost followers, who never engage, make it harder to reach that percentage. Even if these apps aren’t what you’re looking for, I still recommend them for you since Instagram won’t let you follow more than 7500 people anyway.
