I tempted to mail an oversea package and I weighed it before going to the post office. I was told at the post office counter that my package weighed 10 oz. more than what I recorded at home. Needless to say I did not mail my oversea package there I took it to another U.S. Post near where I work and it weighed the same amount as the scale from home. I will never mail my packages the U.S Post Office at Meacham and Mark IV. They have tampered with their scales to force the customers to pay more it’s a scam!!! As a Property Manager, I have lived in various areas of the U.S. this "USPS" is so unbelieveably unaccommodating. The Postal Delivery Person has actually driven by and thrown a package from her truck onto my fencd in porch! Three weeks ago my husband was waiting on some medication which was mailed from the VA. I saw the Postal delivery person drive up, put the mail in the boxes and drive away. I went to check the mail and found a card that said she had tried to deliver but wasn't able to so I had to wait until the next day and go pick it up. Again, my husband has been waiting on his medication... he went to the Post Office with a routing number (provided by the VA), "Oh, yes we have it. She has tried twice to deliver it but you were not home." This is a flat out LIE! ...read more
