yesterday i went to prime time to get a safety inspection and an oil change. i realized today that my insurance card was not in my car, i placed it on dash for them, and proceeded to call them. the kid that answered the phone told me that he destroys items like that every night so no one can steal my information and that i can contact my insurance company and they will fax me another one. i am beside myself wondering what information on my insurance card is that important. i told him that it is not my responsibility to do this because i dont have the time and do not have a fax machine. he told me that if i wanted to be rude he was gonna hang up on me!!! this is the same kid i had to listen to talk about a redhead at a local home improvement center while waiting outside the garage door. i upgraded to a synthetic blend oil and have gotten all of my oil and safety inspections at this location since i have lived here for the past 5 years. the "manager" got on the phone and was completely apologetic and told me to come down and he would take care of everything including the fax. that is all good if you eliminate the company representative that should not be allowed to open his mouth when at work. i will never visit or give my money to this business ever again! on the bright side he seemed to know a lot about deer antlers growing into their eyes and killing them. maybe he is in the wrong occupation. ...read more

I must have my car for my work. Driving 50 K a year, I can't be on the side of the road with a breakdown. The timing belt broke. Called these good folks for help. My car was in the shop in less than 1 hour. I had an estimate of all parts and labor 2 hours later. Not 1 part or hour of labor was unnessary. I'm very happy with the rate/parts and time of delivery. I believe this shop was going to try to sell me a battery and alternator I didn't need. Then they chewed me out when I questioned them about it. Accused me of being rude to owner's wife , which I was not. Told me " I try to run an honest business. and "You can take your car and go on down the road." This chewing out was totally uncalled for. The technician was not even addressing the repair I specifically requested, which was to change out the blower motor module. I will never again set foot on their property and have been telling everyone I can about this bad experience. I had heard other stories about their questionable business practices. Now I believe. I rated them 1 star only because I think you have to click on at least 1. If I could have rated them lower I would have. Also this experience wasted a whole day of my time. I fixed the car myself for $100 instead of $400 minimum in parts + who knows how much for labor. Consumer BEWARE!!!!! ...read more

I have shopped Bealls for years. I was so happy when they moved from the Heartland Mall to Commerce Square. Recently I received a birthday certificate. Today I stopped in to redeem it. I was SO disappointed. The cosmetic clerk spoke as I entered and that was the only time I saw a clerk except the 4 clerks laughing and visiting near the front as I left. turns out this place is actually good! i had a great time there the last million times i've been there. \t\n\t\nnaturally, if you are a terrible tipper and have the audacity to show up repeatedly, the servers will hate you. and there is such a bond between those employees that once word gets around that you're an obnoxious customer who is exceptionally needy AND a terrible tipper... you'll probably get bad service, in the hope you'll never show up again. after all, this is their livelihood, and everyone hates being stolen from. \t\n\t\nalso, this place gets fairly busy. while the work-staff there is typically very good, they can only be in so many places at once. if its been a couple minutes since you last saw your server, don't freak out. check around you, if there are more than 5 tables, they're juggling the needs of other people besides you along with your own requests. they'll take care of you, it just may not be that second. when there are more people than you in the restaurant, inevitable delays occur. its ok though, enjoy your visit with friends and/or family!\t\n\t\nso, if you're reading these reviews, don't be scared to try out this restaurant. just be nice, tip decently, and try the mushroom-jack burger, and everything will go great! ...read more

We come in as a group, 8 of us regularly.. usually after our kid's sporting events. The table they usually seat us at is disgusting to say the least! There is mold growing underneath the table cloth, and it's been that way for years. Not to mention the dust hanging from everything in the restaurant. I have been having them work on my cars for some 4 or 5 years. They were recommended by a friend who lived nearby. At the time my regular mechanic (a neighbor) retired, I went over to this garage. They did the work they said they would. It was the right work. The cost was reasonable. Women have raved about the respectful treatment they receive there, and that is what solidified my confidence in going there. I ordered a sirloin steak, which had more fat on it than meat. The taste was awful too. To make things worse, the service was terrible. My spouse and I only got one refill and the cup the refill came in had a hole and leaked cola all over the table and chair. I tried to flag down the waitress to tell her the cup was leaking but she ran off to the kitchen. I walked to the kitchen to get her and had to wait too long before someone finally came out and asked me what was wrong. I explained the mess and the guy handed me napkins. I had to put the broken cup in my husband's other glass to stop the mess from getting worse. Then I had to wipe down the table and chair by myself.
