But it can be stressful. I was pregnant staying with a two year old and not being able to eat whenever i was hungry made my blood sugar low. They had rules that weren't consistent. Honestly it felt like i was in jail, even though i had a job i felt sorry for the ppl who didnt because they still had to leave for the day whether they had somewhere to go or not. Half the time ppl donated stuff that we the clients never could use. The computers, the library... I mean geez unless we wanted to join the program we were treated badly. Talked to crazy but thos is supposed to be a christian facility. I was outraged that they put women and children out on the street for just having a bag of chips in their rooms. I definitely didn't mind having a chore however having to wait so late to do it when i have to work is absurd. They say chapel is offered but in fact its mandatory. We are forced with different religious beliefs to attend every night. Tired or not. The overnight staff is sometimes asleep and so if u have to leave early you could be locked in until they decide to wake up and let you out. Like i said feels like prison... If you are desperate then i recommend this place but if not then o siggest you go elsewhere. It was more stressful here than sleeping in my car. ...read more
