To say "Dr. Warren Katz is an excellent surgeon" is an understatement. Dr. Katz was thorough in explaining the cosmetic procedure, and very meticulous in planning my surgery and recovery. His staff was also very competent and, as with Dr. Katz, encouraged me to communicate any concerns. Dr.Katz more than met my expectations and I am extremely happy with the results of his work. It's been about two weeks since my procure "the vampire facelift" at the Dallas Anti-Aging Institute and I really can see the difference, but more telling are other people's reactions. I'm a hairstylist so my clients usually see me once every one to two months, so the responses I've gotten from the ones who haven't seen me in a while have really made me glad I had it done! The comments ranged from "you look so fresh and glowing!", "have you lost weight, something is different!?", to " you look younger, tell me what you did!" Besides all of that, the facility and all of the staff , especially Jennifer Orshalick who did my procedure, were very professional, comforting, and nice. They really took the time explaining every step that we were doing, which calmed me, because I will admit I was nervous, but surprisingly there really was nothing to be nervous about and barely any discomfort! Similar to arthroscopic surgery of a joint, endoscopic surgery has advanced over the past decade from merely being able to look to the area of interest, to the ability to repair and reconstruct a variety of complex problems.The benefit of endoscopic spine surgery is the potential to address problems through very small incisions. By not damaging the muscles around the spine, recovery can often be much faster than with a larger surgical exposure.Microdiscectomy, Microlaminectomy and Microforamenotomy:All of these micro-surgeries are variations of standard surgeries used to take pressure off of the nerves around the spinal cord.
