Best jeweler around, hands down. We had them make our wedding rings and we couldn't be happier. Kim (the owner) is a true artist and we can't say enough good things about him. They're so nice, honest, incredibly professional and stand behind all of their work. We bought an estate piece from them and had him rework/customize it into my wedding ring and had him design and MAKE my husbands platinum wedding band to match. We both get compliments everywhere we go and love knowing that we have unique pieces that no one else has. He'll make it if you design it or give him some ideas as to what you want and let him go for it. His creativity and artistry is astonishing. We found him in a"best of" list and now we see why. Don't settle for a cookie cutter piece from a mall store or retail chain when you can do better! Also, they're very competitively priced and the quality is top of the line. They have pieces in store but most of his work seems to be by request or custom. Ask to take a look at some of the stuff he's made and you'll be amazed. Apparently lots of people "in the know" go to him as well as professional athletes and local celebrities. We're not and we could absolutely afford him. Most images that you see on a Website are raster graphics; images made up of little dots (pixels) of colour. If you were to take a gif or JPEG and zoom in, you'd see the individual pixels. if you use an imaging program to shrink the graphic, it makes some calculations that "average" neighbouring pixels together to create an image with smaller dimensions. But if you wanted to enlarge the graphic, the imaging program would take the existing pixels, perform some calculations, and add in lots of extra pixels to make the image larger. This usually results in a blurry picture. Vector graphics are made up of points that define lines and curves. The great thing about vector graphics is that because you're only dealing with points and lines, you can enlarge them quite easily without any loss of detail.
