I had a HP DV9000 laptop that I had purchased 3 years ago for $1,500. One day without notice my laptop power light would come on but nothing would show on the screen. I went to Bestbuy where I was told that the motherboard was bad and this was actually a common problem for this laptop. Best Buy wanted $85.00 for the inital diagnostic + additional labor time and motherboard cost which could be in excess of $800.00. I was recommended to go to Systek which was apparantly the only place in town that would actually be able to repair the motherboard. At Systek the front help was friendly and seemed well informed on this particular problem. Even though I checked in the computer in under the non priority service I recieved a call the next day that my laptop was fixed. I have been using the computer for several months now without any incident. I would recommend Systek to anyone who is looking for fast competent computer service. ...read more

In late dec '07 early jan '08 Systek replaced the mother board on my son's lap top for $700.00 plus dollars! In Feb '08 his lap top stopped working . We took it back to Systek. They said it was the mother board again, it had gone out and their 30 day warranty had expired and the only thing they could suggest is that we call HP so they gave us the 800# for HP. His lap top sat until last week when I decided to take it to Best Buy, to their Geek Squad dept to get a second opinion. Best Buy fixed the lap top with no problems for $129.99 +tax!! They said the lap top had viruses on it and that the video card had gone out. They cleanded up the viruses and replaced the video card. The guy I spoke with at Systek was so unpersonable, acted like he could care less that we had spent $700+ dollars at Systek and in a little over a month the lap top had stopped working again. Systek has offered us 2hrs of free instore service for our bad experience. That's all! I do not recommend them! ...read more
