My mother has taken her computer to PC Tex approximtely five times and the owner, Tim, still has not fixed it. He didn't charge her the first few times she took it in, presumably because he didn't repair it. However, he charged her $97.00 for "work" on 11/29/12 and it's still not operating properly. I spoke to him about it and he suggested that we must have done something to break the computer. I assured him we did not and suggested he reimburse my mother, which he refused to do.
