Took my minivan in for an oil change and inspection. Was told that some expensive repairs (est $2,500 - $3K worth) had to be done in order to pass inspection. (I asked specifically if ALL items had to be repaired for inspection and it was confirmed.) Got second opinion from another mechanic. Told that the issues were true, but none had to be addressed immediately (although not to take too long on a couple). Went to an independent inspection station (not the second mechanic, as he doesn't perform inspections) and got the inspection, no issues. ...read more

I bought 4-tires a while back with part of the sales pitch being free rotation and balances. After 20K miles I returned for this service. It took over two hours. People coming in after be were given priority. Obviously because my order made them no money, Next set of tires will come from some where else. Also during these 2-hrs I was not approached once by a salesperson to give me an update to say how much monger it would take. In the beginning I was told the wait would be 45min to 1-hr.
