Do NOT rent from this place the apartment manager is very rude and when you are 3 days late they will start eviction on you and not work with you! I was never late before and paid in advance before. here is the breakdown of what she charged us which is excessive late fees in a court of law! When my lease is up we are moving OUT and tell everyone about them and don't move here. They also run lawn care blowers starting at 7am in the morning 3 times a week all day long and the fire they all always working on the fire alarms. By LAW (HUD) we have a right to a peaceful living environment yet we don't which is against the law. They also charge you for trash pickup rather you want it up or not to paid a friend yet you don't need it for the community is small and you can WALK to the dumpster yourself to throw your thrash away yourself. HERE is what she charged me for being late: The day she put the attorney fee on it too she didn’t file too or need for we talked to her and told her we was paying that Friday and she knew it and had not filed yet still charged us this anyway. We found out from the maintance man she had rented our apartment out to someone else too and wanted us out. So being how she couldn’t get us out she is over charging fees because she is mad. We don’t know why when we never gave them any trouble and was good renters and quiet and paid early till we lost our jobs this ONE TIME! 06/01/2013 Rent : $799.95 06/04/2013 Late Charge : $75.00 06/05/2013 Late Charge : $10.00 06/07/2013 Late Charge : $20.00 06/10/2013 Late Charge : $20.00 06/10/2013 Late Charge : $40.00 06/10/2013 Late Charge : $10.00 06/10/2013 Attorney/Legal Fees : $106.00 Balance Due: $1,080.95 ...read more

Thinking about joining????

Frequently Asked QuestionsQ: I'm not really a "sales-y" kind of person. Can I still be good at this?A: At Scentsy, it's all about relationships, not hard sell tactics. If you enjoy socializing and sharing Scentsy products with friends and family, you have all the qualifications you need to succeed. In fact, the complete lack of sales pressure and the simplicity of our products are the main reasons so many Scentsy customers decide to become Consultants. They find themselves enjoying a party experience instead of having to sit through a typical sales presentation and suddenly realize, "Hey—I can do this!" Even brand new Consultants feel comfortable and confident right from the start.Q: What are the advantages of direct selling?A: The freedom of being your own boss, the flexibility to set your own schedule and work as many (or as few) hours as you choose, and the limitless potential for success are just a few of the reasons people take up direct selling. And anyone can do it! You don't need a degree or a background in sales or a big chunk of start-up capital. Direct selling is an easy, enjoyable way to earn extra income.Q: Why should I join Scentsy instead of another direct selling company?A: Everything Scentsy does is based on our core virtues of Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity. Scentsy is an active member of theDirect Selling Association (DSA),an industry organization founded to promote and uphold the highest level of business ethics and service to consumers. Why is DSA membership so important? Because it means Scentsy Consultants, Hosts, and customers can be confident about doing business with a company they can trust. In fact, Scentsy has received numerous awards for its growth and ethical business practices, including the Inc. 500 list for rapidly growing privately held companies, the 2010 Direct Selling News Global 100 list of top direct selling companies, and the Direct Selling Association's 2010 Success Award and 2009 Rising Star Award. In fact, Scentsy has received numerous awards for its growth and ethical business practices, including the Inc. 500 list for rapidly growing privately held companies, the 2010 Direct Selling News Global 100 list of top direct selling companies, and the Direct Selling Association's 2010 Success Award and 2009 Rising Star Award.Scentsy is serious about Authenticity in other ways as well. We do provide great training tools and advice on how to have a successful party, but the way you run your parties—and your business—is entirely up to you. From formal presentations to completely unstructured gatherings to one-on-one visits, the choice is yours. We intentionally keep our product line and pricing simple because that makes it easy for our Consultants to relax and be themselves.Q: Will I be obligated to meet any sales quotas?A: In order to maintain "active" status, you need to place at least $150 in orders during one out of every three months. You're free to schedule as many or as few parties as you like and sell as much or as little product as you like. You can also act as your own Host and Consultant.Q: What if this just doesn't work for me?A: At Scentsy we realize that, even with the best of intentions on both sides, not all partnerships are meant to be. As a Consultant or a Host you're free to leave Scentsy at any time. There is no cancellation penalty. ...read more

Understand Scentsy Wax

During the colder months of the year (or those days you have the air conditioning on in your house), scent throw (how a scent spreads through a room) is affected by cooler temperatures and dry air. Scent disperses through heat, which is impacted by cold weather. Scent is carried in the air by moisture (water molecules). In the cooler months, the air is dry, leaving less moisture to carry the scent. Each individual scent is compiled of high notes, middle notes and low notes. When you first put a cube of scented wax in your warmer, the high notes (which smell the strongest) flash off first. As you continue to warm the wax, you smell the middle and low notes. This is the reason why the wax seems like it does not smell as strong as it did when you first put it in the warmer. Certain scents of wax smell stronger than others. For example a citrus scent will smell stronger than a musk scent. It is good to keep in mind that each person has a differentsense of smell. A scent may smell stronger to one person than it does to the other. If you are around one scent a lot in your home, you become more immune to the smell; therefore it does not smell as strong to you as it may to the next person. Lastly, the size of the room that the warmer is in can be a factor as well. If it is in a very large room, or in a room with aceiling fanor a door that opens to the outside a lot, this can contribute to the scent not smelling as strong. If this is the case with a certain scent of wax, I would suggest transferring it in to a smaller room like your bathroom or office space.   ...read more
