Jack Byno Attorney

I am a CDL holder. He knew I had a CDL when he took my money. He stated that he defended CDL holders. He took my money to defend an equipment violation. The fee was $75. The fine was $130. He made a deal for me to plea guilty and pay the full amount. I called his office to explain that I could have pled guilty by mail for the cost of a stamp. I was unable to speak with my attorney and she hung up on me. I will file a complaint with the bar. I suggest everyone do the same. The positive reviews on this page are obviously not real customers. This is the sort of activity making us lose faith in the legal system. ...read more

This guy is a control FREAK!!! He has been in the business too long. He is rude, no sympathy towards his client. He charges $40 to get your ticket off, and he treats his clients like $40 worth. Rude, rude, rude....he likes to be in contol in conversations. It's NOT about the clients needs, it's about what he knows, and how long he has been in the business. All about me, how great thou AM, personality. He sounded like a drill sargent!!! I would never recommend this attorney to NOBODY!!!! Go see James Mallory, instead of this NUT JOB!!! ...read more

Why do I have to make an appointment with a Notary?

Most Notaries that I know require that you call and make an appointment if you have a document that needs to be notarized.  Some people, usually those in a hurry, can become irritated when told they must make an appointment.  However, there are very few places that keep a notary on staff.  There are a few....but not many......places in Tarrant County where you can walk in someplace and say, "I need something notarized." The few walk ins that do exist do not have witnesses available and they will not allow employees to serve as a witness.  Even at your bank they will usually require an appointment. Notarizations legally bind your documents and you want to make sure that the Notary stamping yours knows what he/she is doing. Lets not make mountains out of hills.  Most notaries can make sure you get an appointment the same day and usually there are appointments within 30-45 minutes (or sooner) from the time you call.  Call around, find the notary that offers services most convenient for YOU.  And most importantly, ask questions!  Your notary should be knowledgeable and should be able to answer most of your questions over the phone&give; you an estimated cost.  Know before you go.  If at all possible, do a little internet search on the person signing your documents.  If there is a website available, visit it.  If there are reviews, read them.  Sometimes its worth researching&looking around a little.  If you need a mobile notary, compare prices.  Every notary has different travel charges and just like anything else, you want to find the best deal. The fantastic SQUARE payment app for mobile android phones

If you've used my services lately, you will notice that I have a very interesting app on my phone for accepting credit cards.  Many people worry that it will somehow save their information into my phone&allow; someone to make use of the number later.  NO.  It does not work that way.  It works exactly the same way a regular, manual credit card reader works at any retail store.  Once your transaction has been processed, the sale is closed and the reader does not keep or store any client personal information within the app itself.  This is how it works:1)I will logon to my square account from my cell phone.2)I will enter the amount of the transaction3)I will plug the card swiper into my phone4) I will swipe your card (sometimes, if the magnetic swipe on your card is damaged or your card is well worn, the swiper will not work&I will enter your credit card information manually.5)The indicated amount will be processed&you will be asked to sign your name5)You will be given an option to receive a receipt via email.  I always give you a paper receipt for services but you also have an option of receiving an electronic receipt for the transaction amount. So far, I have had a great experience with the SQUARE payment app.  It makes it super fast&easy for my clients and they leave my office feeling secure that they have received both a receipt for my notary services and a receipt for their credit card transaction.  I've gotten great client feedback on this new payment method!  For more information, check out their website:https://squareup.com/?gclid=CNiSrs_h0K4CFcdeTAodbxWg3Q ...read more
