I drove all the way from Houston to Bastrop in order to get a free phone that this location was the last to still have in stock. Due to a couple of problems within the phone service company, it required the guys at Radio Shack to go well beyond what they 'should' do, but they did not hesitate to help me and go the extra mile. They stayed late, did manual processing which would alleviate the problems we were facing, and also made the transaction take twice as long for them. They were courteous the entire time and wanted to make sure that we left happy. I give this store and these guys all 5 stars! I have been a loyal Radio Shack Customer for decades. I purchased items all over the country and found them to be helpful...until Bastrop,Tx. They are outright rude. I waited 20 minutes the first time while 2 employees activated a cellphone. When the person @ the first register was finished assisting she walked away to the backroom without acknowledging my existence. That day I bought 2 cellphones and spent well over $400 that day. On a recent visit, I waited in line for my turn at the register only to be told that the customer who had just walked up behind me 2 seconds ago was ahead of "me" who had been waiting for almost 10 minutes. When I complained the employee ran to get the manager who was condescending and lied about the district manager being on a phone call in the back. Radio Shack lost a long time customer!!!
