LADY FOOT LOCKER

AVOID this store at Barton Creek. The employee/Manager Jeff was not only rude and dishonest, he was insulting and HUMILIATING. Do not go to this store if you do not want to be subject to: --- Being insulted in front of other customers --- Being rejected for a legitimate return --- Being rejected for a legitimate exchange --- Being lied to on the phone. This is a long review, but I'd like to include the entire incident that occurred at this store. I bought a pair of Nike Air Wrights in Oregon. They were the display shoes, but I thought they would be fine. Turns out, the display shoe (the left) was too big. The part where the shoe creased kept hitting my toes, making it quite uncomfortable and even painful at times. The right shoe also creased at the same point, but it hit a different part of my toes which I assume has more cushion so it was fine. I called in to the store, told Jeff about the display model, and asked if they had another 9 to exchange to. Jeff said no problem, but they'd have to order it. However, I had a 15% off coupon for Finish Line, and on the way there I stopped by there. They had the shoe in stock. I decided to return the shoe instead. That's my call not theirs. When I got there, he wouldn't take it - said it had been worn. I pointed out, yes indeed but not by me (as I had already explained on the phone). He then proceeded to insinuate that I had worn both of them. Again, of course I put them both on to try them out - for all of 30 seconds, perhaps less. Enough to find out my foot isn't big enough to break-in/enlarge the right shoe to the same size, and the left shoe caused a great deal of discomfort in my left foot. Now, if it was store policy that if you put your foot into a shoe you cannot return it, then I would be fine with that albiet unhappy, and perhaps not shop their again. However, I know for a fact that is not their policy. I have shopped at Foot Locker numerous times -- I've been told by numerous employees as long as you walk around inside, in the store, in the house, and return the shoe in re-sellable condition, it's fine. I was told to go back to Oregon to return the shoes. I asked him why he thought I had worn these shoes. He pointed out that there was a crease in the front - the same crease that was bothering my left foot. I don't know whether this was just a tactic to deny my return, if this is a common occurence, or simply a defect in this particular shoe after walking around in it around the house, but that doesn't concern me. I wasn't about to get into an argument over $15, especially with my friend present so I said okay. Order the shoe for me and I'll do the exchange. I was well aware of how the ordering process worked - shoes are shipped from other stores rather then from the factory. I asked him to call the store he orders from and make sure that I do not get another display shoe. He said no, he will not do that. I informed him that foot locker had done that for me before. To my complete shock he took my shoes, bagged it, and told me to take this up with corporate. "I'm not going to be treated this way." Excuse me? "You're ordering me around and telling me to do this and do that and I'm not going to deal with it, take it up with corporate." I asked for his name, Jeff "Jones." You would think a person in the right would have the confidence to give their full name. I told him I would do just that, and left. As I'm walking out of the store, he shouts out after me, "Go back to Oregon." Not only was I not able to return a legitimate pair of shoes (why would he accept an exchange if the shoe wasn't in good condition?), I was humiliated in front of other customers. I'm left with a shoe that hurts my foot every time I wear it. Needless to say, I will never be setting foot in a Foot Locker again. ...read more

I am not a person who writes reviews. In fact this is my first ever. Nevertheless, I feel inclined to let those in Austin know that this store is stocked by some of the rudest sales associates I have ever encountered. We sat for literally 5 minutes waiting for at least one of the 4 sales associates to acknowledge our presence--you know, at least make eye contact. Finally, one did come, but only to ask if he could use the foot measuring device on another customer who had just walked in. Luckily, that customer had seen us waiting and told the man to attend to us first. After that, the guy was nice enough, but the TOTAL lack of attentiveness and customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. Never again will I shop there. ...read more

Vehicle Graphics- Not just for tradesmen!

Your vehicle may be an overlooked advertising opportunity! You've seen tradesmen vehicles on the roads for years- enjoying hundreds or thousands of daily views.  You can enjoy exposure for your small business too!   Vehicle graphics are available in many forms: Colorful plotter-cut solid vinyl graphics and lettering Digitally printed graphics and messages Full body coverage graphic wraps These options enable cost flexibility for your project.  Your message may be simple or very dynamic. While full wraps can actually protect your paint with its 100% coverage, lettering on the paint will sometimes leave a shadow effect if the remaining exposed paint is not cleaned and waxed regularly.  If this is a concern, you may choose to have your business message placed on the glass only. Studies show that vehicle ads: provide reinforced brand imaging to local commuters   present a reputable image of the company   gain a lot of views in all traffic and while parked Contact us and we'll review the options available to you, we've done many of these projects for local businesses! ...read more
