Be weary of ERA Bettinger. I would certainly not use them again for any reason. -Hidden Fees. They add fees exponentially even after you already paid the original fee. Short Sale vs. Foreclosure
Most people do not realize that there are alternative optionsto loosing ones home to foreclosure. Are you having a hard time making your house payment or just falling behind? What is the effect on ones credit foreclosure vs short sale? A forecolsure will stay on your records from 5 to 7 years. A deed in lieu of foreclosure will stay on your record from 4 to 7 years. A pre-foreclosure or "Short Sale" will only be on your record on average 2 years. Short sales may not be possible in all cases, but it is a better alternative or opportunity than just walking away and looing your home to foreclosure. Please contact me at 512-426-2689 to set up a free consultation in the Travis, Hays, Bastrop and Caldwell County area. If you are outside of these areas, I'd be glad to put you in contact with an agent or broker who services short sales in your area. ...read more
