I'm so pleased with the service I received at Whitaker. Manual was very attentive from the initial estimate to the final delivery of BMW X5. He was patient, understanding, answered my "too many" questions and always kept me updated on the status of my car. This shifted a negative situation and inconvenience into something positive. I've never seen my car so clean, even the tire rims were spotless, and the damage to the front end was completley erased. Thanks! I recently had my "fender bender" repaired at Whitakers, and couldn't be happier with the entire experience (unless, of course, I hadn't had the fender bender in the first place....). The staff were friendly and responsive; they explained all the work, handled all of the details with my insurance company, and had my car ready at the promised time. If LQQKS were the only aspect of getting your car fixed, then this place a winner BUT unfortunately that's not the case. The repair looked good but there was something about it that didn't sit well with me. Fast forward 2 months later and I happen to notice my car didn't have the make & model on the back where it's suppose to be! Here I sit in a Macy's parking lot surrounding by every nice car you can think of and I'm not feeling too shabby because I drive an ACURA TL...or so I thought? These fools had forgotten to put the Acura TL Type S emblems back on. I wonder how they forgot...the car was smashed directly in the back and nowhere else, so there was no need for that mistake. I called and they promptly acknowledged the slip and asked me to come in when emblems arrive (5 days- was holiday weekend). I did. I asked if they needed a picture of where to place the emblems...I was told "no" and that they "had pictures of the Acura TL." O.K., fine suit yourself I think. Long story short: the emblems were put on too high, the GPS was acting up (it was in the back @ impact area) and I heard a funny rattling noise by the tailpipe just that morning! Mind you, I hardly drove this car and decided at that very moment it wasn't going to work for me: I traded it in for a new model that day!!!! I have over 100 hours of work, but I can honestly say that I have never enjoyed getting tattooed as much as I did last week. I walked into this shop after seeing a commercial on TV, so I just wanted to check it out. I talked with Jon and Jose, and just knew I wanted to add another piece to my collection. I set an appointment with Jose, as his realistic work is amazing. I could not be happier with the tattoo I got. The whole time I was getting tattooed, I was laughing hysterically at the banter between Jon and Jose. I could hardly keep still. I will have to come back when I get some more money and get a piece by Jon. I am sadden to see how much Taurus Metric has changed over the years, their quality of care and attention to pups has decreased, while their appetite for money has increased. I was not surprised to see how many others agreed in their reviews, especially regarding the metric location. From their high staff turn-over to their ever increasing fees this once "mom & pop shop" has become just another money driven corporation it is obvious that their priorities have shifted. \t\n\t\nI agree with Amber R's post from 9/12/11 on Yelp and Google, Kelly WAS awesome - it's a shame they let her go, she was the best Manager Taurus Metric ever had. Just another example of the changes happening there.
