I have been a customer of Texas Natural Supply for over 10 years. I formulate and sell natural bath & body products. TNS has excellent quality products, reasonable prices, and good service. They also provide most products in a variety of sizes, from 1 oz up to 5 gallons, and increments in between. Being a small business, I often need to work with smaller quantities of products; TNS has been consistently providing excellent quality products in smaller sizes: 1 oz, 4 oz, 8 oz, 1 pound, etc. I have found this to be a rarity among cosmetic labs/wholesalers. The majority of companies offering bulk skin care products seem to have a minimum of 1 - 5 gallons of product. Furthermore, I have found only 2 other companies that provide natural skin care bulk bases with non toxic preservative systems. These companies however, do not have the variety of products preserved with a non toxic preservative system, like TNS does. My only “complaint,” is that the shipping costs seem rather high. However, they do offer 2 choices of shipping: FedEx, and USPS Priority, and depending on the weight of the order one of these shipping options is usually less expensive than the other. I did experience a similar situation as one of the reviewers on merchant circle experienced re. the shopping cart on TNS calculating my order incorrectly. I had removed an item from the shopping cart, and the cart did not subtract this cost. Fortunately, I have learned to calculate the cost of my order, and make sure it agrees with what the shopping cart says. What worked for me when TNS added up my order incorrectly, ($11.00 more than it should have been,) was I hit the “update” button again to refresh the page; this time the shopping cart had the correct amount. For whatever reason, the TNS shopping cart can be a little slow to update/recalculate the cart amount. When TNS started implementing the page of “make sure your order is correct/no refunds/make sure you check agree to all the boxes,” with their order process, I felt annoyed as this takes my valuable time, and as they say: time is money. However, at this point, I don’t take it personally, and just go thru the check boxes, then it’s done, I submit my order, and we are good to go. I think that TNS may have had some customer confusion in the past, so TNS staff are trying to protect themselves, and trying as best they can, to spell everything out clearly and completely for customers. As a long time business owner, I have learned: “You can’t over communicate.” I appreciate that I can either go to the live chat support or phone support when I need assistance. Sometimes, I think I am looking for the “perfect businesses,” to shop with. NOt a professional company and will give you real headache doing business with these people. Orders go into a blackhole and no follow up, no updates, no correspondence what so ever. Moreover, their stuff is real low quality. You can find the same stuff from other responsible sellers and enjoy the process. If you are looking for a professional company to do your business, please find another one because this is not the one. These people are totally irresponsible and indifference toward their customers. You could be waiting for your orders for 10 days and receive no feed back, no response, no updates what so ever. We get stuff from Australia faster then these people response to their customers. Moreover, their stuff is inferior and low quality compare to other qualified sellers. So, if you want an headache go ahead and do business with them. I was putting in an online order and was nervous due to the constant reminder to make sure I agreed with the final price due to no refund, only store credit. So I checked my order before placing and noticed a 40% wasn't taken off. So I deleted the oil and it knocked the shipping down also by $1. I took a total of 11.40 off. Yet, the total was still 3.45 higher then what it should have been. I triple checked. I know, I know, $3.45 isn't a huge amount...but imagine if this was done with every customer! Glad to hear consumers have had pleasant experience in-person. I had a completely different experience online. Placed an order online for multiple products and paid by credit card. When order arrived, one oil was out of stock, but I received no warning from supplier that this was the case. Company issued a credit for the price of the missing item only, no refund of sales tax or shipping costs. Told I could use the credit a week later when the oil was back in stock. Went online a week later to reorder and the website wouldn't apply the credit. I phoned the business to help and attempt to get the reorder, and after pointing out that sales tax and shipping weren't included in the credit, I was told I'd get a full credit on my card and they were blocking my account from future orders because I was "unpleasant" to deal with. I've been to Betty Lash twice now and both of my experiences were great! The boutique itself is chic and all of the employees are super friendly. Danielle did my lashes both times and each time they looked amazing. It is actually relaxing to the point where you almost fall asleep. Danielle is super sweet and has a great touch while attaching the lashes (your eyelids never get pulled or anything.) I highly recommend Betty Lash and Danielle. Dana at the spa is amazing. I've been getting my eyelash extensions done here for a year and a half now and I would never consider going anywhere else. I get compliments every day on my lashes, and to make it even better, she does them for A lot less then anywhere else in town. She also does awesome facials.
