I went to one of the first Yoga Classes at The Monarch in December of 2009- it was a great experience! Apparently The Monarch will be hosting 2 yoga classes every sunday starting Sunday January 17th, 2010. The room they have the yoga class in is spacious, and can fit up to 50+ people easily with plenty of stretching space! Plus, there is so much parking available. And it only cost $15 for an hour 1/2 long class- which is totally reasonable. I am definitely going to sign up for more Yoga classes in 2010. ...read more

Posters attached directly to Acrylic!
At FASTFRAME of Austin, we pride ourselves in our ability to frame practically anything. We now offer this totally cool new process which is an inexpensive way to hang a poster on the wall. A mounting glue is applied to the face of your poster and then mounted directly to a sheet of Premium Acrylic or Conservation Acrylic (your choice). It's then ready to hang using with an acrylic cleat on the back or for a more modern cleaner look...we would suggest the stand-off button hardware, available in polished or matt chrome or brushed or black nickel. For more information on Acrylic Framing, go to our website at www.AustinFastFrame.com ...read more

Framing your Wedding Memorabilia to last a Lifetime!
Whenever I hear about someone getting ready to get married, I always try to remind them that they should be sure to collect the small stuff. The finishing touches that so many women work on for months and then in just one day...it's over and gone. But, if you hang on to it, and I mean the ribbons, pieces of the table settings, flowers (we can dry em), and then bring it into us after the honeymoom is over...we will create for you a shadowbox of weddingmemorabiliathat you can cherish for a lifetime of enjoyment. This past week we had a customer come in to the south store location and ask to do just that. She provided a couple of copies of her wedding invitation, then proceeded to make some very nice mat&moulding; selections. Our Certified Picture Framer Jim Fulton put it all together and the finished piece is lovely. Check out the attached photo of it.So congratulations on the upcoming big day, but don't forget to hold on to a few of the special items that made the day extra special and we will put it all together for you using our Preservation Plus standards atFASTFRAMEof Austin. ...read more
