Williams Elementary School

We finally got out! Wiliams the minute you walk on campus is a battle ground and a survival of sorts. Parents will actually be rude and fight you for parking, drop off is horrible. Our teacher this year is wonderful. She is the only wonderful thing I have seen about this campus. The PTA was so bad that at the beginning of the year it fell apart and took them forever to find someone that wanted to run it again. Their is not any parental involvement, it is all about ratings tests and money. When we checked out of the school the principal actually got mad at us. She lost our childs funding for that school. It really needs a whole makeover to get a different attitude and mindset for the school. At our new school we are not at a battle and am having to learn to take our defences down. Such a huge difference. Since my daughter started the new school she has blossemed. She seemed sad all the time at Williams and I could never get her to open up. Now she has opened up and you can see it in her school work. Williams is a horrible school and we have been there for 2 years. So glad we are finally out. The school district really needs to get info from parents. ...read more
