vert Cadillac. Jason W. is my service adivisor and he is very professional and compassionate about my Cadillac ATS needs. For instance, I called him with my concerns about my car's vibrations, service maintenance needs,etc. He assisted me with making an appointment to come in. This was my 3rd visit there. When I got there, he wasn't available right away, I waited several minutes for someone to come out to meet me.When Jason came out to greet me, he was such a gentleman, he opened my door, exchanged pleasantries, discussed my concerns and informed me that one of my concerns was on recall and also, there were other recalls. He gave me an estimated time on services and set me up in a loaner car. I've had my car since last fall, and my first encounter with Jason has been consistence every time I come in with my Cadillac ATS nees. Everything was very good. I have been a Covert customer since Covert became the Cadillac Dealer in Austin, and have been very pleased with everything about this last purchase. I trust this Dealership with its Service Department in honesty and outstanding Customer Service. I purchased my Escalade SUV in 2011 and have always come back for all maintenance and warranty services because I could rely on my Service Advisor Nathan Kiser and the Manager, Service Department to provide me with me with honest evaluation of any maintenance issue and prompt resolution. Nathan has always been courteous and professional to me in taking care of my vehicle service maintenance requirements. Before taking a 14 days’ vacation this month, I took the vehicle for safety inspection and necessary service. Nathan assured me that my SUV is in very good condition to drive so this 69 year old driver without hesitation drove from Texas because I trusted him and the quality of work at this Dealer to Washington, D.C. and surrounding States and return driving approximately 4,300 miles without experiencing mechanical issues. First - Why would you want a bedliner?Bedliners protect the finish on the truck, keeping it from scratching and rusting. They also have a little give to them, so if you drop something breakable, maybe it won't.Drop-in bedliners that get placed in the truck bed will help protect it, but water can get under it and scratches will rust, just like they would without the liner.Spray in bedliners keep the moisture out and prevent rust. They look better too.Second - How do they spray a bedliner?The first step is prep work. All the hardware and bed rail caps are removed. This includes the bolts holding the bed in place. This not only gives a neater, professional finish, it also makes it easier to remove any of those parts if they need replacing. The surface of the truck bed is cleaned so that the epoxy will stick, and everything is masked off to keep the spray where you want it.The second step is to spray the epoxy. It comes in a double tube that mixes together as it is sprayed, and sets up very quickly, within seconds. Spraying a nice, even coat takes practice, but the material is pricy, so you may not want to do that. Once a tub is started, you keep going until it is finished. Stop for even a brief time and you're in danger of the epoxy tube setting up.The final step is taking off all the tape and paper, and putting everything back together.
