Hello Mahoney Family. This is Kent Kasper I hope all of the Mahoneys are well. I have moved back to Arlington and have taught at Pinkston in Dallas for the last six years. I hope I did some good, that was at least part of my goal, but I am burned out. You guys need another brilliant guy on the payroll standing around somewhere doing great things, don't you? My brother, Kevin, lives in the house where I spent my formative years My older brother lives across the street. I have a darn near "growed-up" daughter I would like to introduce to you guys. This is one place you want to avoid. They shortchange you at move in, provide shoddy maintenance during your stay, and then nickel and dime you upon moving out. They first deceive you by showing apartment units with remodeled bathrooms and then give you one with no remodeling done. I even asked specifically whether I would get a bathroom like the one they showed me and they said yes (deceptive trade practices). Then during my stay, they would only do the bare minimum to fix things like a broken ac (never cold), fix water temperature in the showers (it was either burning hot or freezing), control pests (wasps at every corner). This is even more ridiculous considering the fact that they include a maintenance and pest control charge in the rent. Then to top it off, upon moving out they give you a checklist with about 50 items that must be in new/clean condition. If not they will charge you mercilessly.
